I wanted to put my down my thoughts and observations on why I think the emigrant crisis in Europe is not going to get better anytime soon. First put yourself in the position of an emigrant.  You started as a refugee from a war torn country as you run to a nearby country for safety.  You had a life back home and you had to leave everything to save your life.  You were placed in a refugee camp close to the border with hundreds of thousands people just like you, two years ago.  In the last two years nothing changed in your life.  The same routine, nothing to do, life without meaning, just existence.   You recently heard that there are people running away from the camp towards Europe, and those that reached Germany got money to live on, accommodation and ability to look for work.  The smugglers can get you on the boat, but the journey is risky.  After some time and weighting the options you decide to go, better to take the chance than sit here and do nothing. Change is Inevitable

"Change from the top down happens at the will and whim of those below. "                -- Peter Block   Change is an integral part of many workplaces.  If there is no change, one becomes stagnant and does not improve.  As a result, a company not moving forward is falling behind.  (If everyone else is moving and you are not, soon the others will leave you behind for better things) Places that want to accelerate and be innovative need to constantly change to keep moving. There is nothing wrong with change and change is important.  It is crucial however that the company or organization have a well defined goal.  What is the point of a change if we do not know if we are actually moving forward?  Without a clear goal the change does not make sense, because we never know if we are stepping backwards. Once a clear goal is defined, and it is verified that the change will put us closer to the goal, the next important step is to make sure everyone is on-board.  It is impo
