Verona and Como - Mississauga Festival Choir Europe Tour 2017

First, a quick stop at Verona.  A place is most famous for the Juliette's balcony, but there is more to offer.  We actually skipped the overrated balcony tour that lead through Verona's shopping district, and took a stroll through less known parts of the city. The most interesting place that I was able to see in Verona was the oldest still standing amphitheater. It is still in use and one can see an open air opera while sitting on the ancient stone. A less known landmark of the original city gates is now resounded by a 'more modern' buildings.  After a pizza lunch we were off again to Lake Como, the third largest Lake in Italy, and one of the deepest in Europe. The inverted Y shape lake cuts deep into the Alps providing spectacular views of the mountains.
